What we want to create
The Spatzenhof boarding school in Gulu, Uganda
Our goal: A boarding school for 700 children and young people in Gulu with integrated kindergarten, living- and bedrooms for students and teachers, canteen, library, infirmary, gaarden and sport facility. Including all necessary infrastructure and technical facilities for water, energy and supply logistics.
Of course, a living project like this is never finished. But it needs a concrete vision that drives us to move forward with entrepreneurial project planning. The children we met at the beginning of our commitment are now grown up and motivate us to hurry. We want as many of them as possible - our plans include up to 700 children - to have new educational opportunities here as soon as possible. In a safe environment, healthy and cared for, they will experience justice and development potential - despite the circumstances into which they were born.
